Many people in Saskatchewan were asking for an ASL version of the SGI Driver’s Handbook.

SDHHS decided it would be a useful tool to have for individuals who want to get their driver’s license.

With start-up project funding from the Ministry of Immigration and Career Training, SDHHS began the process of making the SGI Saskatchewan Driver’s Handbook accessible in ASL. It took more time that SDHHS anticipated, there were a few delays and many hours of editing, however, it is now complete!

The ASL video interpretations are intended solely for translation purposes and are not a replacement for the handbook.

If there is a difference in the translation, refer to the handbook for the most accurate information.

The SGI Driver’s Handbook and the laws and regulations of Saskatchewan drivers, vehicles, and roads prevail.
